Hi Lloyd and everyone at the Chalet.
We were a guest at the Birt wedding yesterday (8/20/11) and we were impressed by all the improvements to the grounds and the lovely outdoor space where the ceremony was.
The main reason I'm writing is that when the servers began bringing out those turkey dinners, the 4 vegetarians at our table started to wonder what we would eat. I asked a server if there was a vegetarian meal (clearly there wasn't) and she ran back to the kitchen to ask the chef about it. in very little time, your kitchen produced a tasty vegetarian meal for us. (homemade veggie burgers and steamed vegetables, and we even got some of that yummy cranberry sauce from the turkey dinner) We've all had to request vegetarian alternatives before, and are used to getting some re-heated pasta dish from the deep freeze, so we had low expectations. We were very impressed with the quality of the meal your kitchen produced and the professionalism of your waitstaff.

"We looked at several caterers around Bethlehem/Littleton and were not pleased with either the food or the communication we were getting. Then we found Chalet Caterers up in Berlin, NH - a 45 min drive from our venue, but well worth it! Had a great tasting with Lloyd, the chef. This caterer is in the middle of nowhere, but he knows how to cook! And his prices are MUCH LESS than other caterers we had looked at. He lists all his pricing right online, so there are no puzzling "custom wedding menus" that are suddenly twice as expensive. Even with the additional costs of paying for the caterers mileage and an off-site fee, his pricing still came in way below other vendors. Lloyd was great to work with - always very quick to get back to us when we called or emailed. And he really listened to what we wanted, made changes based on feedback we gave him from the tasting. He was flexible with creating our menu - his entrees include dessert and since we were purchasing and serving dessert separately, he gave us a free appetizer instead. We were looking to work with vendors who give you the time and attention that only a local small business can give, and Chalet Caterers was just that!"
